Heidi Klum and Seal Are Separating

Heidi Klum and Seal Are Separating, Heidi Klum and Seal are splitting after seven years together. In a joint statement to Us Weekly they confirm: "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children¹s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."

The couple have three biological children, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2, plus Klum's 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, Leni, whom Seal adopted in 2009.

On Saturday, TMZ reported that Klum and Seal were heading for a divorce, and that Klum would be filing the papers citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.

A friend of the couple told Us Weekly, "They've had a very rough road lately. They're either madly in love or having crazy fights."
