SNL Mocks Kim Kardashian's Relationship With Kanye West

SNL Mocks Kim Kardashian's Relationship With Kanye West

SNL Mocks Kim Kardashian's Relationship With Kanye West, Saturday Night Live The jokes were inevitable: A week after Kim Kardashian and Kanye West took their romance public, the comics at Saturday Night Live questioned its validity in one of their sketches. The April 14 episode, hosted by Josh Brolin, featured Nasim Pedrad (as Kardashian) and Jay Pharaoh (as West) weighing in on the Trayvon Martin case during an appearance on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight.

Pedrad's Kardashian was shocked that it took Florida officials so long to arrest George Zimmerman and charge him with second degree murder. "Forty-six days!" she whined. "That's like half a marriage!"

After the comics poked fun at Kardashian's past relationships, Taran Killam (as Morgan) asked: "Is your relationship for real, or is it just another publicity stunt?"

"I love this woman," Pharoah's West said. "As I said earlier this week, she's my Beyonce."

Pedrad's Kardashian added: "Only without the singing, or the dancing or the acting. I'm a zero-threat!"

Jokes aside, multiple insiders tell the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that Kardashian's relationship with the hip-hop megastar is the real deal. "It's not a PR stunt," a source insists of the rapper, 34, and reality star, 31. "They're perfect for each other."

Reese Witherspoon upstaged in dress

Reese Witherspoon upstaged in dress

Reese Witherspoon upstaged in dress, Reese Witherspoon vs. Rooney Mara — Fashion Faceoff, The star overaccessorizes a look worn with more understated style by a buzzy young actress. "This Mean War" is the title of Reese Witherspoon's latest movie, but it could also describe the message she recently sent to actress Rooney Mara. The two hit the red carpet in the same chic, retro-shaped sleeveless dress just five weeks apart. "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo's" Lisbeth Salander isn't one to back away from a fight, so this fashion battle is on! And it's up to us to decide just who wore it best.

Reese, 36, donned the dress in sunny yellow for the "This Means War" premiere in Rio de Janeiro on March 8. The Oscar winner added a statement necklace, belt, Jimmy Choo sandals, and a ponytail.

Oscar nominee Rooney, 26, slipped on the frock for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 3. She accessorized simply with Giambattista Valli heels and pulled her hair back in a low ponytail.

This is tough as the dress is flirty and flattering on both ladies! Both women also chose the design in a color that really compliments their hair and fabulous footwear, so this comes down to the details. Reese earns bonus points for making her look more polished by belting the garment, but she loses points for having too much going on in the accessories department. Does she really need a belt, a statement necklace, and a ponytail? Meanwhile, Rooney could use a belt to make her look less plain, but I applaud her understated hairstyle and her minimalistic approach. So I say Rooney's the winner, although I have a feeling a lot of people are going to disagree.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are Engaged

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are Engaged

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are Engaged, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Are Engaged!, The actress steps out with an elaborate ring that Brad Pitt helped design. After seven years together and six children, it looks like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally ready to take the plunge! Pitt's manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante confirmed the news to USA Today. "Yes, it's confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring."

Speculation around Brangelina's engagement started on Wednesday when Jolie was snapped sporting a blingy new piece of jewelry while attending an event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art with Pitt and their son Pax. Turns out it was an engagement ring designed by the couple's jeweler friend Robert Procop, who has worked with Jolie and Pitt through the years and is behind the "Style of Jolie" jewelry line, which he sells on his website in cooperation with the Oscar-winning actress.

"I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt," a rep for the jeweler told The Hollywood Reporter.

And the gem expert himself confirmed the news to the website — and shared details about the ring. "Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration," Procop told THR. "He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite Angelina's hand. Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality."

Jolie and Pitt met on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" when he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Although they initially denied a romance, just months after Pitt and Aniston announced their divorce, he was photographed with Jolie and her son Maddox on a remote beach in Kenya. The Jolie-Pitts now have six children — three adopted, three biological — and have said that they would marry if it became something that was important to their offspring.

"The kids ask about marriage," Pitt told USA Today last year. "It's meaning more and more to them. So it's something we've got to look at." Jolie made similar statements regarding marriage, telling Nightline: "I think it would be hard to say no to the kids."

But picking a wedding date will be no easy task as Brangelina will have to plan around their busy schedule filled with humanitarian work and movie making. In fact, just yesterday there were reports that the couple, who hasn't worked together since "Smith," will be partnering up for a new movie, "The Counselor."

Furor over Lady Gaga's 'don't eat' note

Furor over Lady Gaga's 'don't eat' note, Lady Gaga Angers Fans By Tweeting ‘Pop Singers Don’t Eat’, Given her past bulimia battle, the singer sends some surprising words to millions of her fans. Lady Gaga is currently under fire for a food-related issue--but this time it's not anything like a dress made of meat. The superstar angered scores of fans earlier this week with a tweet many interpreted as dangerously supportive of eating disorders.

"Just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger #PopSingersDontEat #IWasBornThisWay," Gaga's Twitter account read on Tuesday.

The Twittersphere response was swift and negative, with users taking particular offense to the "don't eat" hashtag. Many tweeted such comments as "disgusted," "lost respect," "stupid," and "so wrong" in regards to the remark.

Some fans were even more blunt: "You just blatantly endorsed anorexia to over 22 million followers," read one tweet.

Even the National Eating Disorders Association weighed in, tweeting "Huh? This is the same person who recently implored girls to stop dieting?"

The 26-year-old superstar admitted to Vanity Fair in 2010 that she herself battled bulimia, citing an incident in which she forced herself to throw up a meal of fried chicken before a meeting with a record-label executive.

Since then, she's been an advocate of healthy eating, urging girls to cultivate a positive body image. In February, she spoke at a young women's conference in Los Angeles, imploring, "The dieting wars have got to stop. Everyone just knock it off."

Mindy McCready's baby mix-up

Mindy McCready's baby mix-up

Mindy McCready's baby mix-up, Mindy McCready’s Strange Baby Mix-Up, The troubled country crooner claimed to be expecting twins but delivers only one child, a boy. Life has taken another unusual twist for Mindy McCready. The singer announced yesterday that she and her music producer boyfriend David Wilson welcomed a son, Zayne, on Monday. While that sounds like your typical celebrity baby announcement, there was a twist: McCready previously announced that she was expecting twins.

When asked by E! News to clarify why the troubled star delivered one baby rather than two, her rep said, "At the time of the initial announcement surrounding Mindy's pregnancy, in consideration of her size, Mindy was certain she was carrying twins; a misinterpreted sonogram seemed to support her feelings and excitement." As recently as December she spoke about being pregnant with twins.

This news comes just a few months after McCready made headlines for fleeing Florida with her elder son, Zander, who resides with her parents — his legal guardians. In November, she did not return the boy, whose father is her ex Billy Knight, after a scheduled visit. She violated a court order by taking him to Arkansas, where they were later found hiding in a closet. The boy was placed in foster care until the custody dispute was resolved in court.

McCready later said she was "happy" with the results of the child-welfare hearing, but wouldn't elaborate because the court documents had been sealed.

Buzz about Brad and Angelina movie

Buzz about Brad and Angelina movie

Buzz about Brad and Angelina movie, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie may share screen time again, The two are in talks to star in a gritty thriller — their first project since "Mr and Mrs Smith." Brad Pitt is close to signing on to a Ridley Scott film in which Angelina Jolie is also circling, Deadline Hollywood reports. If all lights turn green, this would be the first time the couple has shared screen time since "Mr. & Mrs. Smith"—the 2005 film in which the celebrity pair are said to have first fallen in love (while Pitt was still married to actress Jennifer Aniston).

Pitt and actor Javier Bardem are said to be close to signing on, and Jolie is vying for the female lead, according to the Deadline report.

The thriller, called "The Counselor," stars Hollywood "it" man Michael Fassbender, while Oscar winner Natalie Portman and Jeremy Renner have also been rumored to be in the film. "The Counselor" is about a lawyer (Fassbender) who falls in too deep with drug trafficking.

It starts shooting in June in Europe—a convenient location to Scott's and Jolie-Pitt's respective homes in the south of France.

Jolie has voiced the desire to work again with Pitt. In 2010 this is what she told Vanity Fair:

I'd love to. We've talked about it. We'd have to figure out who's going to watch the kids, but it's really about finding the right thing, because we've looked. When you're a couple, there are certain things people don't want to see you do. It becomes too indulgent, too personal. I don't think people want to see people who are really together intimate on-screen. Maybe we have to play bad guys that try to kill each other, so it's just fun and aggressive, not dealing with some man-woman deal.

"The Counselor" will be Scott's next directorial effort after "Prometheus," also starring Fassbender (alongside Charlize Theron), due out in theaters June 8.

Frances Bean lashes out at Courtney Love

Frances Bean lashes out at Courtney Love

Frances Bean lashes out at Courtney Love, Courtney Love Should Be Banned From Twitter, Says Frances Bean Cobain, The teen slams her estranged mother for making a "gross" claim about her and a Nirvana rocker. In the aftermath of erratic singer Courtney Love's latest Twitter rant claiming Foo Fighters/Nirvana musician Dave Grohl hit on her daughter, 19-year-old Frances Bean Cobain has cleared the air: Dave Grohl never hit on her!

Frances Bean Cobain told Us Weekly, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn… I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship [with the Rambles' Isaiah Silva], and very happy."

Most poignantly, Cobain added, "Twitter should ban my mother."

As reported by Gawker, the tirade took place this week on Courtney Love's private Twitter account (@cbabymichelle), which is confined to a conservative 548 followers as of right now. Apparently the Hole singer accused 43-year-old, married Grohl of making a pass at Cobain, claiming the information came from her estranged daughter's roommate and a driver. The ranting singer went on to say that Grohl was "sexually obsessed" with her late husband, Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain.

Dave Grohl's camp quickly issued a statement after the diatribe went public, saying, "Unfortunately, Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant… These new accusations are upsetting, offensive, and absolutely untrue."

Megan Fox's Disappearing Body Art

Megan Fox's Disappearing Body Art

Megan Fox's Disappearing Body Art, Megan Fox’s Tattoo Gets Airbrushed Off Grazia Magazine Cover, The star appears on a magazine cover, but one of her infamous rib-cage tattoos isn't there. Megan Fox has been very open about the fact that she's removing a tattoo of Marilyn Monroe's face from her forearm, but in her cover photo for the May issue of Grazia magazine's French edition, another one has vanished: a Frederich Nietzsche quote on her right side. Has the "Transformers" actress lasered off yet another tat?

Not exactly. The same photo appears on the inside of the magazine — and the ink, which reads, "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music," has magically reappeared on her rib cage. Maybe the editors found it too distracting and decided to Photoshop it out? Strangely, the magazine did not digitally remove the equally obnoxious tattoo she has just above the Nietzsche quote, a line from Shakespeare's "King Lear."

The tattoo in question, one of a reported eight that 25-year-old Fox has also over her body, was somewhat inspired by Mickey Rourke, her co-star in the romantic drama "Passion Play." In June 2010, the actress told MTV News, "I actually got a tattoo that is sort of in honor of him. It's on my ribs. I don't know if it's been photographed yet, but it'll come out eventually, I'm sure.

I just love him very much and think he's very special." In a follow-up interview a few months later, she explained the ink "is a Nietzsche quote that sort of basically is about marching to the beat of your own drummer and not being afraid to do that. I was saying that it reminds me of Mickey, of course, because he clearly is not marching to anyone else's drummer, drumbeat, and that's all. It's not necessarily an homage to him."

In addition to her tattoos in honor of Rourke, Shakespeare, and Monroe, Fox also has one for her husband, Brian Austin Green. His name is right above her bikini line.

If they split, we're not sure what would be more painful — the breakup or lasering that one off too.

Justin Bieber reveals, 'I was bullied'

Justin Bieber reveals, 'I was bullied'

Justin Bieber reveals, 'I was bullied', Justin Bieber Supports ‘Bully’ Documentary; Admits He Was Bullied Himself, The superstar lends one of his songs to a "powerful" new documentary on bullying. Justin Bieber recently lent his song "Born To Be Somebody" to the new trailer for the documentary Bully, which casts a spotlight on America's bullying crisis. But that's not all he's lent to the cause. The 18-year-old megastar has revealed that he truly understands the issue--because he's gone through it himself.

"I was bullied," Bieber explained in an interview with Showbiz Tonight. "Most people in their lifetime have been bullied at some point. I think that it's about time that people start making a change."

Bieber noted that he believes school officials, teachers, and students often ignore the issue of bullying. However, he feels that the documentary is "really powerful, and can help change a lot of lives."

Bieber's tune, which includes uplifting lyrics such as "This life can kick you around/This world can make you feel small/They will not keep me down/I was born to stand tall" is an inspiring complement to the controversial film, which examines the lives of several bullied high school students--including two victims who committed suicide as a result.

The documentary, which had a limited debut in U.S. theaters March 30 as an unrated release, recently had its rating approved as PG-13 in order to reach a younger audience. The newly rated version will hit theaters nationwide on April 13.

Famous Plus-Sized Crystal Renn Model Slims Down

Famous Plus-Sized Crystal Renn Model Slims Down

Famous Plus-Sized Crystal Renn Model Slims Down, Former Plus-sized Model Crystal Renn a Shadow of Her Former Self, Crystal Renn, who built her name as a curvy catwalker, defends her decision to get thin. Crystal Renn has reinvented herself several times as a model. In the past, the 5-foot-9 brunette beauty went from a 95-pound 16-year-old anorexic to a successful size 14 plus-sized model.

Now she appears to be returning to her thin frame.

The 25-year-old looked almost unrecognizable Tuesday night at a charitable event in New York City, appearing very thin with short, platinum blonde hair and eyebrows.

"I've been a double-zero, children's clothes, at 95 pounds, and I've been all the way up to a size 16 and everything in between," Renn said to the United Kingdom's Daily Mail. "Now I'm a 6, 8, sometimes a 10, depending on what designer I'm wearing. And that's an interesting place to be in fashion, where extremes are the norm."

Her career has certainly been one of extremes.

But her latest altered appearance is causing some controversy, since Renn has been a vocal advocate against overly skinny models. The curvaceous beauty who caused a sensation on runways all over the world became the face of that cause after chronicling her struggle with anorexia in her 2009 memoir "Hungry: A Young Model's Story of Appetite, Ambition, and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves."

When the book was published, she told the New York Times that "she felt that she was able to close the door on a period of her life defined by hatred of her body."

And her career took off. Her agent, Gary Dakin, told the New York Times that Renn was "far and away" the most successful plus-sized model at Ford Models. She modeled for stores such as Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Evans, a plus-sized retailer in the U.K.

Weighing about 165 pounds at the time, she made a yearly salary in the high six figures.

Then Renn started losing weight about a year ago.

"When this whole weight-loss thing happened, I think that a lot of people wanted to point their finger at somebody," Renn said in an interview posted on the Ford blog. "They wanted to find a conspiracy where there absolutely was none."

Renn is now regarded as a former plus-sized model by People magazine, which wrote about her landing a coveted spot in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue this year.

"I felt comfortable with my body. I've been doing yoga for a while now," Renn told People. "That makes you aware of how your body moves.
"I have found a place of stability when it comes to how to view my figure."

But she didn't always feel like that.

After being scouted in her hometown of Clinton, Mississippi, at the age of 12, Renn was told she could make it as a model if she lost weight. She did just that, and when she moved to New York three years later, "she weighed 95 pounds and had lost more than 42 percent of her body weight," according to the New York Times. She also got plenty of modeling jobs.

But the cost of her early success was anorexia, which she struggled with for years. Her agent told her she had to either live with the difficulty of being so thin or become a plus-sized model. After turning 18, Renn opted for the latter, and began the second part of her modeling career, "fluctuating between a size 10 and a size 14," according to an ABC News report.

Now, Renn "is in between the two" sides of the modeling industry -- plus-size and otherwise, said her agent, Dakin, to ABCNews.com.

"She reintroduced exercise back into her life," Dakin said to to ABC News. "Hiking and yoga are part of her life now. She is healthy and feels amazing right now."

Rachael Ray's No. 1 workout regret

Rachael Ray's No. 1 workout regret

Rachael Ray's No. 1 workout regret, Rachael Ray: ‘I Didn’t Start Meaningful Exercise Until I Was 40′, The foodie admits a major healthy lifestyle component has been missing from her life for a long time. It was those famous "30 Minute Meals" — always focused on fresh ingredients — that helped Rachael Ray become a household name. But despite the celebrity chef's penchant for veggies, her "everything in moderation" mantra (which includes burgers and mac and cheese too), and her push to use good-for-your-heart E.V.O.O. (her now-famous abbreviation for extra virgin olive oil), Ray admits one big piece of a healthy lifestyle was missing for her for a very long time.

"I didn't start meaningful exercise until I was 40 and I feel really guilty about that now that I'm a few years into running six days a week. I really feel like I missed out a lot in my adult years," the now-43-year-old tells omg! from Yahoo!. "I wish I had those other 25 years back between when you're forced to go to gym class and where I'm at now. There were a lot of years where I thought that just working really hard was the equivalent of having exercise every day in your life, and it really isn't."

Ray — who also hits the gym every morning with her husband of six years, Jon Cusimano — insists that it's not just exercise's physical benefits that have turned her into a workout junkie. "It really makes me feel mentally so much more on point, so much more even. I don't lose my temper. I don't get lost in the middle of the day," she shares. "I just have a much cleaner, clearer vision every day and I can get so much more accomplished mentally by moving physically every day."

To be sure, Ray is accomplishing a lot. In a little over a decade she's gone from an occasional guest on the Albany local news to media mogul, with a multiple series on the "Food Network," a syndicated talk show, a monthly magazine, a line of cookware, a series of books, and even her own brand of dog food.

She's also busy on the non-profit front. Five years ago Ray launched a charity called Yum-o!, focused on eradicating child hunger, lowering type-2 diabetes and obesity rates in America, and providing scholarships to kids interested in going into the culinary field. In addition, she recently teamed with Ziploc to promote the Great American FreshOver project, meant to bridge the gap between how often American families should be preparing healthy meals filled with fresh, wholesome ingredients and how often they actually are, all through a Facebook page.

"The differential is so large they wanted to [create] a platform for families to go get information, incentives, and great tips and tricks to lower that differential when it comes to feeding their families a more healthful diet that includes more fruits and vegetables," Ray explains.

While her schedule is dizzying, the 5'3" dynamo learned by example from her mother and grandfather to work hard at work, but not to bring it home. These days, in a world of 24-hour cell phones, texts, and email, it's a lesson Ray lives by. "They were both people that worked, you know, 80 to 100 hours a week and happy to do it, but every minute they were home, they were doing something with the family," she says. "The bigger goal for my mom was that we share time together and I think my husband and I live that way today."

Indeed Ray and her attorney/rocker hubby don't need to pencil in dates. Instead they focus on late-night cooking at home most evenings.

"As long as I get home before 9 o'clock, we make dinner together, and that's our treat. Every night is our date night that we cook at home because we have that time together, we can have a glass of wine, listen to music or put our favorite show on while we're chopping and making dinner, then we sit down and we share a meal together," says Ray. "That really makes me feel like I got my time out of my day."

Later this year, she'll celebrate her 44th birthday and mark seven years of marriage. Career-wise, Ray is about as successful as it gets, and if you hear her speak for all of 30 seconds, she seems like one of the happiest people on the planet. So why are people always asking her when she's going to have children?

"Forty seems to be that magic number where that question starts to come up all the time. It's an obvious one, especially for a woman to ask another woman," she explains. "It's never really gotten on my nerves."

For those waiting for Ray for bring her very own little sous chef into the world, well, keep waiting. "I didn't get married until I was 37. I work five jobs. I feel like a marginally good mother to my dog, you know?"

And, she says, the children's initiatives she focuses on via Yum-o! give her a sense of fulfillment that she's helping the next generation. "I get to be around lots of kids and feel like I am doing my part in giving back. But at the end of the day I didn't feel like [being a parent] was a good choice for me. I just didn't think I could handle, quite frankly, the stress I would put on myself that I couldn't be around enough," Ray explains.

"And it really never came up with John either. It was never high on his list. We were always so busy and so happy with the day-to-day lives that we've had now for about a decade together. I never felt that pressure at home."

If there's a fellow TV chef out there who's the antithesis to Ray and her sunshiney persona, it's none other than the chain-smoking, foul-mouthed Anthony Bourdain, who's let it be known that he's unimpressed with the bubbly brunette's cooking style (for recommending short-cut ingredients like pre-chopped onions, for example) and has lambasted her for encouraging viewers to "aspire to nothing." While she isn't Bourdain's only target — he's most recently made headlines for going after Paula Deen — in true Rachael Ray style, she doesn't seem bothered by his insults. Not even a little.

"I absolutely love Tony Bourdain. I always have, I always will. I'm on and off the love/hate list. I don't know, I don't care, I've always been a huge fan. I read his fiction and non-fiction. I think he is cool as hell," Ray insists. "Just because somebody says something that disagrees with what you teach or what you do out in the world, it really, to me, would be petty if I let that change my opinion of him or his work. I constantly beg him to come on the show and I have fingers crossed that one day he will."

Brad Pitt as a 14-year-old hoopster

Brad Pitt as a 14-year-old hoopster

Brad Pitt as a 14-year-old hoopster, Brad Pitt Was A Basketball Reject, The actor didn't make his middle school basketball team, so he created a squad called the Rejects. We don't know many women who would say no to Hollywood's leading man, but sure enough, Brad Pitt faced lots of rejection in middle school. He literally wore it on his chest.

A snot-nosed 14-year-old who would grow up to become one of the world's most attractive men gave his Cherokee Middle School basketball team the nickname "Rejects." The Daily Mail reports Pitt helped organize the squad with friends after being cut from the eighth grade team in 1977.

Pitt clearly had a good sense of humor at a young age and had his father Bill coach the team. The six friends had special uniforms made with the word "Rejects" displayed prominently across the chest.

Tommy Lasorda's classic quote "play for the name on the front of your uniform and not the one on the back" wouldn't apply to this group of misfits.

Aaron Stull, a Rejects teammate and school age friend, tells the Daily Mail that the group was rewarded for its hard work. "His (Pitt's) dad coached us and we used to practice at one of the churches his family used to go to and play our games at the local Boy's Club. We even got a trophy, but sadly I can't remember what it was for."

Pitt didn't end up playing basketball at Kickapoo High School but was part of the tennis, golf, swimming and wrestling teams.
