Zac's awkward red carpet moment, Zac Efron ‘drops condom’ on red carpet, we cringe on his behalf, Actor Zac Efron had cause to blush after apparently dropping a condom at his new family film premiere. Poor Zac Efron revealed more than he bargained for at The Lorax premiere in Los Angeles when he apparently dropped a condom (in its wrapper, we hasten to add) on the red carpet. Cringe!

A video of the weekend's incident is making waves online, showing the moment Zac dropped a gold square-shaped wrapper as he passed something to his publicist. The 24-year-old actor quickly picked it up and popped it back in his pocket. 

There's no official word on exactly what Zac let slip, but speculation is rife it was male birth control.The person who uploaded the video added in a slow motion section and ringed the object. The fact that it was at the premiere for his latest children's film makes it all the more blush-worthy. Zac himself looked pretty sheepish as he's seen popping on his shades, mouthing the words "Oh my God!" and giggling behind his hand before carrying on like a pro.
