Madonna slams M.I.A.'s Super Bowl move, Madonna: M.I.A.’s Super Bowl Middle Finger-Flip Was ‘Out Of Place’, "It's such a teenager… irrelevant thing to do," she fumes of the rapper's vulgar gesture. Madonna says her Super Bowl experience was filled with "warmth, love, and support," but when it came to M.I.A.'s digit malfunction, the pop superstar was not happy.


"I was really surprised. I didn't know anything about it," the singer said on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on Friday morning.

"I wasn't happy about it. I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity -- it seemed negative. It's such a teenager...irrelevant thing to do," the singer continued. "There was such a feeling of love and unity there, what was the point? It was just out of place."

Finger-gate aside, the 53-year-old revealed that she got emotional following her powerhouse performance.

"I was overwhelmed. I started crying. I felt an incredible sense of warmth, love, and support. To see an entire stadium light up like candles it was... like a religious experience," she said.

And will fans see more of her Super Bowl gladiator/Cleopatra-inspired looks on her upcoming world tour?

"Oh god no! I don't want to repeat myself. I never do that! I am having auditions all next week. Then I'm going to shoot the video for 'Girls Gone Wild' after that, then I start rehearsals," she explained.

Madonna also shot down rumors that pop princess Britney Spears will appear on her upcoming single, "Girls Gone Wild."

"No, it's just little ol' me," Madonna told Ryan

Madonna's new album, "MDNA," drops on March 26.
