Adele's triumphant comeback at Grammys

Adele's triumphant comeback at Grammys

Adele's triumphant comeback at Grammys, Adele Triumphs at Grammys with Comeback Performance, The singer takes center stage for the first time since undergoing throat surgery. A standing ovation greeted Adele during her long-awaited return to live performance with a soulful rendition of "Rolling In The Deep"--the winner of the Song of the Year category, and just one of Adele's conspicuously shining moments at the 54th Grammy Awards.

One inescapable fact: While Whitney Houston's name was unexpectedly on the lips of those attending, it was Brit singer Adele who otherwise dominated the show.

Looking elegant, self-assured, and quite glamorous, the singer earlier in the night had appeared onstage to accept her award for "Someone Like You"--winner in the Best Pop Solo Performance category--and conspicuously thanked her doctors for their work. Those thanks were justifiable, it appears, on the basis of her "Rolling In The Deep" performance, which was spirited, animated and a welcome signal that she was fully back in the game.

As the awards continued to roll in, it became obvious that the phenomenal sales success Adele has achieved has been matched both by the acclaim of her peers--via her many Grammy wins--and, very likely, her doctors.
