Move over, "Glee." The return of "Mad Men" has the Web buzzing over Jessica Paré's racy rendition of a French song, "Zou Bisou Bisou."

During the two-hour premiere of Season 5, Megan (played by Paré) throws her new husband, Don Draper (Jon Hamm), a birthday party. Her big moment comes when she gives him his gift: a sultry serenade of "Zou Bisou Bisou."

Her performance is showstopping. Dressed in a sexy black micro-mini dress, Megan slinkily dances around the room and sings for her man, who looks like he wishes he could be anywhere else.

Paré's take on the Gillian Hills song from the 1960s was highlighted as the "signature moment" of the season opener by the blog Indiewire. Although the song was sung in French, based on the Hills version, the blog notes that the tune was first sung in English by Sophia Loren. There is also a cover available with the title "Zoo Bee Zoo Bee Zoo."

The song was a hit at the party, and on the Web. The tune, a French pop hit, loosely translates to "Oh! Kiss Kiss" and immediately became a top trending topic on Twitter. Searches for the song also hit a high note on Yahoo!. In just one day, lookups for the "Mad Men" ditty were up 375%. Paré's version of the song is now up on iTunes, and a limited edition on vinyl is available on the website of AMC, the network that carries the show.

The tune seemed to stick with fans long after the show aired. As Questo of the Roots tweeted, "Great...now I'm singing Zou Bisou Bisou all night." Myron Pongco ‏ agreed: "Guess I'm not the only one who watched #MadMen last night and got that 'Zou Bisou Bisou' song stuck in my head." Another admitted, "Hadn't realized how stuck it was until i found myself muttering Zou Bisou Bisou over and over as i walked down the hallway."

This wasn't the first time Paré sang on "Mad Men": Megan taught Don's kids a French lullaby in last season's finale. But that was nothing compared to the work that went into last night's performance. "I listened to [the song] a whole lot... and I worked with a choreographer over three six-hour sessions," Paré explained on a conference call earlier today. "But I was doing it in front of the entire 'Mad Men' cast, so I had to know my stuff." She insists she's still just an amateur vocalist, though. "I like to sing around the bonfire and in the car and in the shower, and that's about it," she laughs. "But I think I have a bit of a rock fantasy, so it was really a thrill to get the opportunity to go in and professionally record a song."

The French-Canadian actress is getting her due. The 29-year-old's past film credits have been as varied as Josh Hartnett's fiancee in the 2004 film "Wicker Park," a role in the WB teen drama "Jack & Bobby," and a groupie in "Hot Tub Time Machine." The emerging star, who was brought up speaking both English and French, is finally able to make use of her many talents.
