On this, the wonderful joyous occasion that is Valentine's Day, Matt Barkley would just like to remind you that he's awesome.

He's young, he's talented, he's smart, he's good looking and he's the quarterback of what will likely either be the No. 1 or No. 2 team in the country next year. And as if all that wasn't enough, the USC quarterback tweeted a picture of his girlfriend, Seattle Pacific soccer player Brittany Langdon, just to rub a little salt in the wound.

Go ahead, I'll give you a minute to stare, curse, cry, whatever you need.

Barkley tweeted the photo Tuesday along with the message: "Missing my Valentine right now… But distance makes the heart grow fonder! #HappyValentinesDay

I suppose the bitter can take solace in the fact that they're apart this Valentine's Day.
