Miley Cyrus posts snapshot of new haircut on Twitter
Miley Cyrus posts snapshot of new haircut on Twitter, She quit Twitter because she was fed up of living her life online and seeking approval from fans. But just two and half years after initially abandoning the social networking site, Miley Cyrus is parading her new haircut via a Twitpic and questioning her four million followers what they think. The Hannah Montana actress has gone for the chop, showcasing a shorter and sleeker bob, which frames her face and adds an element of sophistication for the 19-year-old.
But it seems the reception may have been a little frosty, as she quipped: 'All y'all are saying its soooo short! Only cut about an inch & a half off tonight! In total about 5 inches!!! I love it! So liberating!'
Miley, the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, sported a much longer style at the People's Choice Awards last month, when she wore her blonde tresses draped over right shoulder.
During her days off from parading on red carpets, the 7 Things singer has been sporting a ponytail - which she is unlikely to be able to do now that her hair hovers just below her chin.
Back in October 2009, Miley posted a rap online to explain why she was abandoning Twitter, implying that she lost her focus on real life and began seeking approval by 'living for people'.
She sang: 'The reasons are simple: I started tweeting about pimples. I stopped living for moments and started living for people.'
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez has replaced Miley as the voice of Dracula’s teenage daughter Mavis in a new Sony animation Hotel Transylvania.
The production studio would not comment on why Cyrus was leaving the film, in which Adam Sandler voices the character of Dracula.
Miley hasn't burnt out yet though, and her career is still in full force, with her lastest role seeing her star alongside Hollywood A-lister Demi Moore.
The pair star in LOL, a film that follows 15-year-old Lola who is dumped by her boyfriend and then pursues his best friend.
