Grammys 2012: Katy Perry shows Lady Gaga she’s the queen of quirky, Who's the star grabbing Gaga's crown?, A surprising star challenged Lady Gaga for the title of undisputed queen of eccentricity at the Grammys. Katy Perry may have only signed her divorce papers last week but she's showing no signs of personal turmoil as she took to the stage at last night's Grammys. Katy Perry sparkles in blue & more. 

The star fashioned her figure into four fabulous outfits, with two onstage ensembles that would give Lady Gaga the green eye.

She emerged on stage singing her hit E.T clad in a green costume carried on by a mini army of dancers.

Her vocals were set to the backdrop of silver robots, laser beams and stunning visuals.

Katy Perry morphed from green martian into a futuristic female wearing a metallic cat suit by Abigail Greydanus.

She then started her next song, Part Of Me from inside a Perspex box suspending herself at times with a short bungee rope.

The routine revved up a notch with smoke and fire shooting up as she commanded attention with her energised performance.

At the start of the evening, it was a totally different story, Katy was the epitome of elegance in a blue lace gown by Elie Saab.

Later, she appeared more relaxed as she posed for pics with pal Rihanna.
